How do I add a bead?
Tap the red + button on Strand. Six steps follow: What, When, Where, Who, Keep and Why. Only the title is required. Save on the last step.
How do threads between beads work?
Threads are drawn automatically between beads that share a person, a place or a year. Add the same person name or place name to several beads and they connect.
How many photos and kept things can one bead hold?
Up to 12 photos, up to 6 kept things (ticket, letter, card, receipt, link or other) and a note of up to 600 characters. The Why answer takes up to 280.
How do I edit or delete a bead?
Open the bead from Strand, Timeline, Places or People. Edit reopens the six steps. Delete asks for confirmation first.
How do I clear my archive?
Open Insights, scroll to Your archive and press and hold the reset control. This erases every bead, person and photo copy held by the app. It cannot be undone.
Can I see the intro again?
Yes. In Insights, under Your archive, tap How It Works to replay the two intro slides.
