Privacy Policy

The short version

Daystrand does not collect any data. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone.

What stays on your device

Beads, titles, dates, places, people names, notes, kept things and the photos you choose are saved in the app's private storage on your iPhone. Small settings, such as whether you have seen the intro, are saved in UserDefaults on the device. None of this is sent anywhere.

No network

The app works fully offline. It makes no network requests and has no account, sign-in or server. Nobody, including the developer, can see your archive.

Photos

When you add photos, you pick them with the system photo picker. The app saves copies of the chosen photos inside its own storage. Photos are not uploaded or read in any other way.

No tracking

The app does not track you, does not contain advertising and does not include any analysis or measurement tools. Its privacy manifest declares no tracking and no collected data types.

Deleting your data

You can delete a single bead from its detail screen, or clear the whole archive in Insights under Your archive. Deleting the app from your iPhone removes all of its data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version and its date will appear on this page.
